Everything was going according to plan, so we decided to drive up to the Delicate Arch Viewpoint, then head to the Devils Garden. Walks to view points and around the southern part of the park was quite pleasant. After seeing this view we went to next points – The Windows and Balanced Rock. It’s the place where high rock walls creates the avenue, along which there is 1 mile log trailhead. With map in hand, we went to the first viewpoint – Park Avenue Viewpoint and Trailhead. We could not wait to see the fantastic rock formations by our own. From the movies we went out with a great attitude.
#Delicate landscape arch movie#
Movie described the mechanism of formation of arches, pointed out the tourist attractions of the park and how it is a unique place. A little after noon we crossed the park gate and parked in front of the park’s Visitors Center, where we watched a movie theater video showing the beauty of Arches park, but also its delicate nature. Fortunately, the forecast for daytime was 75-80F (24-27C), so there were perfect conditions for park exploration.

We’ve been slightly less satisfied with the temperature, because here, a little further north, beyond the day the temperature dropped to 54-60F (12-15C). Interesting rock formations appear from all sides tempting our camera lens. The road from Monticello to Moab proceeded very smoothly. Park Avenue Viewpoint, Trailhead, The Windows & Balanced Rock
